08-6-2009 - Induction Scheduled for Friday June 12th, Yay!!

Well ladies, My Doc has scheduled my Induction for Friday. I'm so nervous and at the same time happy that we will be meeting our baby boy Cameron. We had our ultrasound for growth this morning and he's weighing in at approxiamately 6lbs. He's head down and way down. I'm having a lot of pains down there in the va jay jay, also alot of Braxton Hicks contrations, especially at night. As of today, I've been in the hospital for 2wks 5 days, I'm about to go crazy, but I know I'm in the best place write now because of my mild pre-eclampsia. The Doc checked me today, but I have not dilated, but she said that my cervix was soft. They will give me a medication called Cervidil in the vagina on Thursday evening, hoping that will soften my cervix more and put me into labor, if not, on Friday morning the will start Pitocin IVto bring on labor. I pray that the Cervidil will work. So you ladies hang in there, we will all be meeting our beautiful babies soon.
