13-10-2009 - We lost the baby

My mood while writing this blog:
sad but ok.

I was at the hospital in the afternoon because of spotting 11-2pm). My hcg levels were at 5386 and for 11 weeks that is bad. Also, the baby was far to small and not 'clear' in the ultrasound.

Started getting labour type cramps (bad) around 7pm. Lay down around 8 to go to bed, felt a pop (just like when my water broke with my son) and i was bleeding a lot. We went back to the hospital where I continued to pass clots etc. It was horrible. Doctors monitored me and let me know when I was ok to go home. I lost a lot of blood so I was and still am pretty light headed. I am relaxing at home right now.

Hubby and I are both really sad, but we know that God has a plan for our lives and it's not always our plan, so we hope baby is in heaven and we will try again as soon as we feel ready.

I am so sorry for your loss... I too just had a miscarriage about two weeks ago so I know how you're feeling. I hope you are doing ok and hopefully will be able to try again soon.

I'm sorry for your loss. I've had a miscarriage the first time I was pregnant. It was the hardest thing. I was in tears for a month. I hope you're doing okay. *hug*
