They estimate the weight by measuring the long bones and some other things so most of the time its close. Thats prob right. Im glad things are doing good for you!!

My doc told me that when they tell you the baby's weight, its just a guess by what they see, its not always accurate, i mean how could it really be right on? its not like he's standing on a baby scale in there :) but regardless, cheers to a healthy baby!!!

When I was 29 weeks pregnant they told me Chloe weighed 4 pounds 3 oz.... yet when she was born at 37 weeks and 5 days she was only 6 pounds 2 oz.... they they obviously were wrong about her weight so you never know!! Also my friend Jacey was told her baby was only going to be about 8 pounds and he was born over 10 pounds!!!!! so you never know!!

glad everything is going well. my baby was already 5lbs. 4 oz. at 32 weeks and i go back this wednesday and i will be 34 weeks to see what she weighs again so i think i got a big one too lol!

Hello everyone, I just got back from my 33 week growth scan, I was measuring big, so they sent me for another sono. Well, Baby Ty is a fatty, he already weighs 5lbs and has very long legs. She said he is in the 62nd percintile for weight, so we got a whopper..haha He dropped more this weekend, so they couldn't get a good face pic. Oh I am so excited and nervous, about 6 more weeks till my due date..YAY!!!
