07-1-2010 - 1st OB appointment

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well, I had my first appointment with my OB's office yesterday afternoon. It wasn't anything exciting, they did the urine to confirm my pregnancy, did bloodwork, then just did the pregnancy questionnaire. I was very excited when my nurse was able to get me scheduled for a doc's visit and a sono on Monday!!! Yay!! They are training a new sonographer, so I have to have my sono seperate from my dr. appt, I have to go to the doc's at 9:15, then to the hospital for a sono at 2:00. I am just excited to be able to see my little one on Monday!!! I will breath a bit easier once I see that little heartbeating.

My doc's office is great, I love the girls who work there. The nurse introduced me to the new receptionist, and told her that I am a VIP patient and she should get used to seeing me..heehee With my last pregnancy for the last 18 weeks I was constantly coming in or calling for one reason or another. So her saying that made me feel good, like I wasn;t a constant bother last time..haha We were talking and she said that even though this is my 2nd child since losing Arihanna they are still going to give me the same extra special treatment I got last time. I was very pleased with that. Even though Arihanna was not a pregnancy loss, they know I am just terrified of losing another child, no matter how it happens. She did talk to me about being high risk and my PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension) and she said we will keep a close watch like last time!! This is number 6 for me and I know think I am done...plan on talking to the doc about getting my tubes tied after this one!!

I am so excited and nervous...I love my little bean somuch, I can't wait to see him/her on Monday!!
