11-1-2010 - Doc's appt

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well, there's not much to update at this point, it was the OB visit where they went over my bloodwork and did there swab and my annual(I was due for it anyways). My iron was low which I kind of knew, so they gave me a perscription for iron pills. My BP was 130/82, I little high, but they expected it would be with my history of high BP in pregnancy (PIH) the doc was not happy that it was a little elevated this early, but he said it could easily be nerves. I got to meet the resident doctor who will be following me thru my pregnancy, he is like my own personal doctor..heehee I normally would see my Nurse Pracitioner until I get closer to the end, so it will be nice to have a doctor involved. He said he will be oncall at the end so he can make the delivery! Such a nice guy! When I seen my actual doctor, it was a quick in and out, he just said, we know you have done this before, we will be monitoring your BP and keeping a close watch on dilation later on in the pregnancy and then he asked me.."didn't I just see you like 6 months ago?" I said "yes, I delivered my son excatly 6 months ago" then I blushed..haha I am very suprised to be back on the pregnancy train, but I love it so much! I have my sono this afternoon and I am nervous and very excited to see my little bean.
