17-1-2012 - Lochlann @ 1 month old!

My mood while writing this blog: Bittersweet

Well everyone, one month has past since we had our precious baby boy! I cannot beleive how fast the time has gone. He is absolutley perfect in everyway! The past month has been amazing. We have learned that little man has reflux and also is lactose intolerant like his big brother. So because mommy was eating dairy products, he was receiving lactose in my breastmilk, so I had to stop breastfeeding last week. :0( So Lochlann is on straight soy formula now. Breaks my heart to hear he is allergic to mommy's milk. Thats supposed to be a bonding time. But as long as hes not hurting Im happy.

Anyways, we go on Feb 3rd for our 6 week PP check up. I have ALREADY stopped bleeding. Acutally a week ago. And we are getting an IUD. Its time to call it quits for a few years on babies. I would love to try one last time for a daughter but I am so busy and blessed with my boys, I am focusing all on them. At least until Lochlann gets into preschool.

Im doing and recovering pretty well. Have a bit of the "baby blues" occationally. I think its more me being sad that its all over. But I am so enjoying having my little man here. Hes so special! And his two big brothers LOVE him. Below is some pix of him!!!
