28-4-2009 - 13 Week Appointment

My mood while writing this blog: Excited!

Ok.... Had a check up yesterday. Wenrt well. They heard the heartbeat on the doppler! Doc says that there is less than a 5% chance of miscarriage now! YEA!!! The heartbeat was 172BPM... Strong and LOUD!

7 Weeks : 141 BPM

8 Weeks : 168 BPM

10 Weeks : 179 BPM

13 Weeks : 172 BPM

The bebe is sitting HIGH... It was about an inch below my belly button. It was great to hear that sound...The bebe moved 3 times while he was trying to get the beat, thought that was cute. Bebe is already being a terd. Just like its mommy... : )

I am starting to feel more movement, but only if I have my hand on my belly. I cant wait to feel the bebe move more. A few more weeks and I should be able to feel it.

Ok, so during my appt he also said that in 3-4 weeks I have to go to a High Risk doctor for a High Risk ultrasound. Then to see him afterwords. That will be a long day. Where I had 4 m/c and a uterine septum removed, he wants to make sure everything looks ok. He also said he wants them to look at my placenta to make sure it looks healthy. He said that he didnt suspect anything wrong, and that honestly EVERYTHING looked great, but he just wants to make sure with my history. At first it made me nervous, but he said that we can find out the sex then also. I will be about 16-17 weeks. They made me an appt for May 27th, but if I wanted to go at 3 weeks instead of 4, just to call and they would get me in right away (that day they said, lol) I never thought that I would have found such a GREAT group of doctors!!! They are really taking GREAT care of me and my bebe. YEA!!!

He then said that we would come back 3-4 weeks after that and we would have my BIG ultrasound then. So the next 2 appts I get ultrasounds. That makes me feel GREAT! I love being able to see my little one grow. I have already had 4 ultrasounds, so by 20 weeks, I will have had 6 ultrasounds.

Just really excited!!! I cant beleive that I am pregnant. Still cant! After all we went through, I never thought it was going to happen... Then, BOOM, were pregnant and its sticking! God has a plan for all of us, and you may not understand why at the moment, but it WILL ALLL WORK OUT IN THE END AS LONG AS YOU HAVE FAITH!
