10-6-2009 - 17 1/2 Week Checkup

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Sorry about the delay in the check up. So much going on. Swhooo...

So I went to the high risk doc for an "offical" check on my little boy. They say that he looks absolutly great. Growing at a perfect rate. Said his bones looked perfect, as well as his heart, and numerous other things. I am so happy that he is so healthy. They also verified that it was 1 MILLION % BOY! Lol.. I have been meaning to put the pix up, things just have been CRAZY!

But they are still concerned for other reasons. They told me that I have placenta previa. They are watching that closely. I have had some pink spotting because of this but they measured my cervix and they said it looked perfect. Just scarey. They also are a little nervous because of pre term labor with me because I had a uterine septum. I had it removed in Jan 07. That has made my uterus a little smaller than a normal one. They are afraid that I may not be able to provide to term. Ugh! Worries... I have a follow up appt a week from today on June 17th. They may do an u/s but not sure yet. They did say they will do one at 24-25 week check up. They want to see if my placenta has moved. Anyways...

On a good note, we bought his bedding!!! YEA!! Its super cute. We are going to paint the nursery this weekend. Top blue, bottom dark chocolate, with white chair rail. I am super excited to see it all finished. I feel like I have so much to get done and I am freakin out that its not going to get done before he gets here. This pregnancy is already going by SUPER fast... Also I have been feeling SUPER punches from my little LIAM... I can just see my tummy roll... Totally loving the kicks and punches. Now when he starts that flutter stuff (which he has not done in quit some time, think its getting a little tight in there) that makes me feel sick.

O yea, we also changed the spelling to his middle name. His full name will be "LIAM KAYDYN TOWNSEND". Super cute huh?

Ok I will update you after my appt on Wed... Hopefully I can get another u/s to see my little one again...
