21-7-2009 - 25 Week and Emergency Visit

My mood while writing this blog: Hurting

Hey girls. First off thanks to all the ladies that commented on my 25 week pic. I know that everyone carries differently, thats why I hate it when others compare me. This is my first pregnancy, and I have had a portion of my uterus cut out, so Im just not showing as much. But my doc says im perfect.

Anyways I went to my 25 week check up and had another u/s done. My placenta previa is GONE! Yea! Means I should be able to have a vaginal birth! Other than the fact that hes still breech, but they dont seem too worried. My little man is almost 2 lbs. Getting big fast!

Ok, so I went BACK to the doc today because I was having SEVERE side pain. I wasnt going to go, and just wait it out. So they did another u/s to check the baby. Hes just fine. But they are saying with the pain as bad as it is and the where the pain is located they beleive that its kidney stones. They checked my urine and its fine too. Its so painful that I can hardly walk. If I am laying down, I am just fine, but as soon as I stand i buckle. Also when I use the bathroom both bowel movements and peeing, I hurt so bad I could start crying. Well the doc decided to just send me home, tell me to take Tylenol, and use a low heating pad on my back. Well I have not got off the couch today other than going to the doc, I have took Tylenol, and have had the heating pad on my back, and still in SEVERE pain when I stand. Should I go to the hospital tomorrow if its not better? I was thinking of calling my family doctor and seeing her tomorrow. I just dont know. I just hate it when they cant tell you whats wrong. Frustrating.
