15-3-2009 - The Nursery

My mood while writing this blog: Happy, excited!

I have pictures up of the beginnings of the nursery as well as bump pics. We are converting the "dogs" room into a baby room. Really, it has been empty aside from their crate until now. We got the Crib and Dresser set in and put the crib together. I can't wait to put it to use. I think today I will put some items into his dresser. We are doing a Pirate theme for him. We found a cute set through babies r us. We really like the bold colors and of course we feel like the pirate theme will suit him well. I will be 26 weeks this week, 100 days to go! I can't believe how quickly it's coming now. The baby shower is a little over a month away and my last day of work about two months! I have been fortunate to have a really uneventful pregnancy so far, aside from first trimester sickies. I hope to continue down a simular path. The baby loves to move around and kick, I love to feel that reassurance everyday! Nice and healthy! We are so excited to meet our little guy! Can't wait to see if he is more like mommy or daddy or a perfect blend of both of us.
