03-6-2009 - 34 weeks - feelin' pretty zen

I can't believe how calm I am. Usually I'm in "freak out" zone by now. Maybe having two other kids paved the way a bit.

Physically, I feel pretty good. Yes, I'm big, clumsy, sore, slow and frustrated with my limitations, but I know it's going to be over soon. And - it could be SO MUCH worse. My varicose veins in the hootchy-koo have either calmed down, or I've figured out how to handle them. The incessant peeing is getting to be a bit much. After I had my first daughter, I held my pee for 4 hours JUST BECAUSE I COULD! Ha! Simple pleasures.

I think I've realized how fast all of this period goes - not just pregnancy, but their early years, too. I might as well try to enjoy it rather than wish it away. Plus, this is my last baby, so knowing it's the last time makes it easier to endure.

I'm not really sure when my actual due date is. Two appts ago, I got bumped ahead a week. Last appt with a different OB, I got moved back 3 days. I just laughed. I'm keeping the July 12 date - it's closer!
