| 03-7-2009 - 37 or 38 wks - Full term | My mood while writing this blog:Tired, I guess |
At my OB appt. Thursday, I was "one finger" dialated, "very soft," and not effaced. He told me effacement doesn't matter with a third baby because it often happens during active labor. He said the dialation means much more.
Amazingly, I'm probably one of the few women on here who wants to STAY pregnant. There's a lot of "poop" going on in my life right now, and I'd like for that to settle down before Baby comes. My OB told me I wouldn't see July 19 (my original due date), but I wouldn't have the baby the next day (today). My first daughter was born (induced) at 42 weeks, and that's looking pretty good right now. Of course, I feel pretty good physically - actually WAY better than I did throughout the rest of the pregnancy. And, just like with my other two kids, I'm NEVER ready for the new baby. I'm thanking God I'm full-term, and just seeming to see how far I can push Him by asking for another two weeks or more. Are we women ever satisfied? lol
