19-12-2008 - First Contractions and a Merry Christmas!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Hi all ! It has been a while for an update! Thank you for all of you!!! Baby is doing great! Every BPP is an 8 out of 8..(I get them once a week)well,I no longer have to ask what contractions feel like..

Of course, we are staying here for Christmas but my mother and father are expected to arrrive on my birthday Jan 7...maybe my little boy will arrive then too. Although, Jan 20 is still my official due date!

I had some excitement this Wednesday. I started contractions...I was not dialated at all and my contractions subsided after staying in the hospital for 4 1/2 hours, they sent me home with a follow up the next day. At my follow up, they checked my cervix again and said it was soft and 1 cm dialated, so it seems things are starting to move. Baby is head down and ready but it could still be a week or three weeks the doctor said..I hope he holds out atleast til my parents come but it was exciting and is exciting!:) He was 7.5 lbs this week and of course, adorable!
