13-11-2008 - MY DUE DATE IS A SAD DAY FOR ME

My mood while writing this blog:

I THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO TOUCH ON A MORE PERSONAL SUBJECT FOR THIS BLOG...

MY BELOVED GRANDFATHER PASSED ON FEB. 9 2008 AND WE BURIED HIM ON FEB. 16TH, 2008..

MY SON IS DUE ON THE DAY WE BURIED MY GRANDFATHER AND IT'S SO HARD FOR ME ACCEPTING THAT. MY FAMILY HAS TOLD ME THAT'S A SIGN OF A PART OF HIM RETURING.. IN WHICH I KNOW IN MY HEART IT IS..

AFTER HE PASSED I TOOK IT VERY HARD AND PRAYED FOR THE LORD TO BLESS ME WITH A CHILD TO EASE MY HURTING HEART.. 2 WKS LATER WE WAS BLESSED WITH MY NIECE HARMONY AND 4 MONTHS LATER I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT..

FUNNY HOW I RECIEVED MY BLESSING IN SUCH A SHORT TIME.. BUT I KNOW ONCE FEBRUARY COMES I'LL FEEL THAT PAIN AGAIN DURING HIS 1 YR ANNIVERSARY OF HIS HOMEGOING..

I'M NOT SURE IF I SHOULD BE HAPPY ABOUT MY DUE DATE OR SAD.. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK???

I Think As a mother you will be strong and reconize that in your loved ones passing, that persons is now on to a better place. and this time of year is no long sad for you, you are celebrating your childs birth!!! and then your child getting older. Your loved one is now your babys guardian angel. My due date was feb 13th...my doc informed me that he was gonna induce me on jan 19th, i called my dad to tell him, he reminds me that that is the day his dad died!!! how ironic, noe my father will have an extra special connection with my son. as will your baby have an extra connection with your passed love one.

Hi,

I'd be very happy if I were you - yes it's bittersweet to think of now but knowing how much joy your little one will bring on a day which is normally a sad one is only a positive thing.

Everything happens for a reason and I think this is your granpa's way of making things just right for you and yours.
