Well ladies I am going o write about my time in l&d. It was great well for the most part. I thought my water had broke at 2:30 that morning and so I waited for any type of contractions... well when they started to come I got worried. I called my step-mother and she was so excited mind you it was a full moon. She came and got me went to the hospital and got tested. Well that was negative but, lucky it was my doctor that was on call. And when I first started to see him my due date was march the 7th and then he got my old records and found out that I was really due on the 19th instead. So well he saw that my dilation had changed and said lets have a baby. He popped my water at 8 a.m. and started pitocin. I was so happy and glad to bring my baby into this world. Called the fiance and had him get ready and my 2 daughters as well so they could go to papaws house. My cousin and mother and fiance all came up to the hospital and was excited. I usually have 5 hours births so we thought it would fly by. Well 5 hours passed and they turned me on my left side to make sum progress. Well as fast as the nurses walked out the faster they cam back in. The baby's heart rate was dropping super low AFTER every contraction scared me so bad. So instead of her face pointing towards the ground she was tilting her face side wards. And, she was laying on her cord. They had told me that we might have to do an emergency c-section Right there had me so scared and sad!! I just keep thinking oh no my older 2 daughters are going to be so sad I wont be able to interact with them and just sit on my bum all day. I started to cry. But, thank goodness for my lovely nurse Mrs. Mandi she said she wasn't going to let me have a c-section that she would try everything to make me go natural. So she turned me on all fours for 30 minutes and it got me from a 4 to a 5 and thats what they really needed to see. They also tried to put some fluids back in me but, couldn't get the tube in cause her head was blocking the entrance. So gave me oxygen and kept me to one side. And, boy did it work I finally was able to push. I did 3 sets of 3 and she was out like that. My precious Qveyah Paris Faucher weighing 6 pounds and 10 ounces. and 20 1/2 inches long. Long dark black hair and creamy carmel skin, darks eyes as well. But, I am sure they will turn blue soon. Thank you for reading our birth story. Its like you were there.
