| 06-5-2008 - An update since January | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
At the moment I'm 25 weeks and 3 days pregnant.
I had my midwife apointment yesterday morning. Told her about my pelvic pain and hip pain and all she suggested that I do swimming rather than walking as walking may aggrivate it. I have bought a belly belt to help support my belly which should in turn help the lower back pain. She said, I'm having this all too early and that it will only get worse. How encouraging!
I am also experiencing carpul tunnel syndrome. I lay on my side on the bed last night, leaning my hand against my hand to only get up to shooting and painful pins an needles in my fingers. I won't be doing that again in a hurry!
We had our anatomy scan and a follow up scan but still couldn't find out the gender so it shall remain a surprise which is kind nice because it means that at a baby shower I won't be getting just blue or pink clothes but rather neutral, which I'm fine with :)
We have bought a bassinet and a manrobe off trademe. Add a pram to that and thats all we have so far.... oh, I did get given a baby carrier thing and a baby bouncer from a friend who had been given more than one these items.
It's been hard the last few nights trying to sleep, with lying on my side now, my hips are starting to hurt and lying on my back can lock my lower spine into a painful position so I try not to sleep in my back right away and now the hassel with my hubby and his snorning lately! I'm glad we bought a bed off a friend the other day because the first night when the snoring started to irritate me and before we set the bed up, I actually got up and went to the lounge and go all the couch cushions and put them on the floor to sleep... needless to say it was a very uncomfortable sleep! I bought hubby some "snore away" spray and it works little bit but then I wake up and can't go back to sleep because he's snoring really bad. I hate sleeping without him though.... I feel so diconnected!
Names we are considering if it's a boy: Tristan. If it's a girl, then either Sasha or Asher. Max argues that it's a girls name when I've only heard it named for boys. I don't mind though.
