On Tuesday I had my first midwife appointment, though the midwife I was supposed to meet was at home sleeping because of delivering babies the whole weekend. Thank goodness I don't have the one I did meet! She was far to harsh for me. Didn't seem to care which was annoying. I thought she would check my belly and ask me questions but did nothing of the sort, just obvious medical questions.

The good news, I have my first scan on Friday the 8 February 2008 @ 9am. It will be a Nucell and date scan. The Nucell scan to check if I am high risk for a downsyndrome child which according to my age, I'm not. But, even if it turns out that I am, we won't be terminating. It's definitly not an option.

I have thrown up since last week but still feeling spaced out now and again and tired, but I think thats just from the heat really. It's been stinking hot but the best summer I have had in the 7 years of living in New Zealand. The spa pool turned on low has been a God send!

I have work today from 2-5pm and tomorrow from 8:30- 4:30.

Other news, I have 6 students to teach guitar to in 2 weeks time! Totally excited!
