27-7-2009 - more bleeding...

My mood while writing this blog: annoyed and worried

Well, the last 4 weeks since being on bedrest after my first bleeding incident have been pretty uneventful. I have been resting and haven't had any problems. Then last week my husbands grandpa passed away, so we had various family events all week long. I did get permission from my OB to attend the visitation and funeral, so I felt okay about going. I sat the whole time and did not do anything too stressful I don't think. The funeral was Friday and Friday night I woke up at like 2:30am....bleeding again like last time. Only not as much, so not as scary. But it was enough to freak me and my hubby out for sure! We called my doctor's office and they said to go to the hospital if the bleeding didn't stop within 1 hour. Thankfully it did but then I continued spotting the rest of the weekend. I called the office this morning to give them an update, but they said that as long as I wasn't bleeding currently, I didn't need to come in. I have been feeling the baby move around lots, so that makes me happy, but now I am just a bundle of nerves again. I am just taking it really really easy now, only getting up or sitting up if I absolutely have to. Ugh...I just wish to get to 36 weeks at least. Having the placenta previa can be really dangerous for me and if I start bleeding and it doesn't stop, they will deliver the baby early.

Glad you are only getting up out of necessity. I know the besrest is hard but in the end it will be totally worth it!! My thoughts are with you!!

Oh sweetie, I'm soo sorry about everything..your recent loss and your condition. I can only imagine how scary that must be. I will keep the two of you in my daily prayers that you make it safely to 36 weeks and that you have a safe delivery. Try to keep your thoughts positive and your spirits high :o)
