Hello everyone! Yesterday I had my U/S appointment. Come to find out, I wasnt there to find out the gender, I was there because my OB had found something wrong and wanted to make sure nothing else was going on. =[ I didnt know at the time because they asked me before I came in to the appt to begin with if I wanted to find out gender. hmmm! Well, I get there and the tech seen what she needed to and called the dr. in. I thought it was routine. He comes in and says my amniotic fluid is very low and he wants me to drink a gallon of water a day and no exercise. Well as lazy as I have wanted to be, I would walk like 3-5 miles a day to stay fit because I dont want to be overweight when delivering the baby. Turns out, I have no choice at the moment! I was very dehydrated and I have been feeling that way for weeks. So its no wonder that my lil baby doesnt have enough fluid! Im just more worried at the fact that if its not my water intake, then it will be her kidneys or lungs not working! I will be so devastated! But Im doing what the doctor asks of me and praying everything works out! Just thought Id let everyone know what happend at my appointment! I hope everyone is well!!! Take care

I had low amniotic fluid at 18-19 weeks.It was borderline low all the way up until I delivered 2 months early.Drink a lot of water,rest,like I did for months,and don't stress yourself out!!Joshua,my son,is a healthy 15 month old,despite the grim outlook during pregnancy.Good luck and God bless!

yeah when you excercise you are burning that much needed fat and cal. intake for the growing fetus inside you, and he's right drink drink and drink more as much as you can it will help and just relax hun you will loose it all after the baby is born right now you need to be careful what you do because of the little one inside of you.....take it easy and no walking 3-5miles...lol
