18-3-2009 - Jason needs surgery!

My mood while writing this blog: Real emotional

Okay, here's our predicament! Jason just called me and he has been told that he needs surgery for his ankle. He ended up rolling it 2 months ago at the beginning of Boot Camp and they have been working him since, everyday since it happend he has been doing everything they have asked and he hasnt been in much pain. At least from what he told me in his phone conversation. He is only a week away from the Crucible, and I figured that since he is so close to graduating they would just let him make the decision to go thru if he feels like it. Well, since he isnt much into confrontation, I am going to voice myself and make sure he graduates on April 3rd with his platoon! Im hoping that what I can offer him is enough! I have always been his voice and I swear to do the best of my ability to make sure he comes home on time. They want to keep him 2 extra months!!! This baby is due July 18th! So if anyone out there prays?!?! Please pray that I can help him graduate on April 3rd. I have so much faith in him and I dont see him wanting to be put thru surgery right now. I know him so well and I feel in my bones that he wants off that Island more than anything!

I also had to break down and tell him what we are having too! I really wanted to surprise him at graduation! And unfortunatly, I couldnt even get really excited about telling him because we were both so devastated with this news of his surgery! Im really upset and I know that it will be okay, but for right now I just want my love home and happy! Please anyone that believes in the power of prayer, please pray that he makes it home on April 3rd and that our little baby girl will be born happy and healthy. Thank you to all that have the chance to read this blog! I just needed to write it out.
