19-6-2008 - 22 week visit OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Today I saw my midwife again for my 22 week visit. I can't even begin to tell you what I weigh now. My goodness! Then nurse assistant asked me if I wanted her to hold my handbag while I stepped on the scale, I told her 'really, it's not going to make a difference'. I am 2 pounds less than I was at the end of my preganancy with my son. Goodness! I guess I have another 15 pounds to gain. It's all worth it though. Like I mentioned before, I'll just starve myself after the baby is born and worry about weight then.

I have to take my glucose tolerance test in about 3 weeks. So happy about that-- NOT! She also said I will be getting another sonogram at 30 weeks. I heard my little mamacita's heartbeat again. We discussed my fibroids and how it is normal to feel pain in the area of my incision that I had my C-section. However, she said it's too early for me to be getting Braxton Hicks. She told me to make sure that I am drinking lots of fluids and resting to avoid going into full labor, which I would then have to be admitted into the hospital.

Otherwise, everything is fine with the baby. My 3 year old is giving us a hard time these days. He's trying to adjust to his new class in daycare, but he's not following directions and telling his teachers 'no' when they ask him to do something. My DH has to put him in check when he comes home (no tv, no candy, early bedtime, etc). I can't stress myself out trying to fight and punish him, so I just pray he'll get better before his baby sister comes.
