30-8-2009 - Loving mommyhood

My mood while writing this blog: amazing

Ollie is now 3 and a half months and boy is he a lot of fun! Now he's smiling so much and giggling when i tickle him. He loves bath time, i think thats now one of my fave parts of the day, its funny to think i used to be scared to give him baths!

Right now he's trying so hard to roll over, he's on his play mat squealing and shouting, it's so cute.

Still being EBF and has me up pretty much every 3 hours, but to be honest, i really don't mind because it means i know he's safe and happy. We were co sleeping up until this week and he seems to be getting used to his own bed really well. I'm so proud of him! Although i kinda miss his cuddles in the night!

At his 2 month check up he was over 11lbs so i can't wait to see what he is in 2 weeks, he feels really heavy now so I'm positive he's doubled his birth weight. He seems very interested in food, when I'm eating he watches me like a hawk, and he seems to want to put everything in his mouth and lick it! So cute.

I'm wondering wether or not to try him on baby cereal yet? Opinions?

I'm gonna ask his doctor at his 4 month appointment and see what her advice is. He certainly loves his food!

I just wanna kiss his little chubby arms and legs all day long! Not to mention his cheeks!

i'm not a mommy yet.. i'm still waiting for my baby boy to say he's ready to come out. i'm 37wks and 4days preggo and ready for him to come!! about the cereal i would give him some, i'm planning on giving him cereal at around 4mnths and your baby boy seems very interested in food so try it but start with a little to make sure he'll be fine with it. good luck

I am exclusivly breast feeding to. I started giving Ryan baby rice at 4 months...just a little in the mornings as a taster. He is 5 months now and has a breastfeed first thing and now a litle sunshine orange baby breakfast which he adores. Just introduce it slowly and try to stick to baby rice etc until 5 months to avoid allergies :)
