27-5-2008 - I tried my best...

My mood while writing this blog:
Defeated...d*mn d*mn d*mn JAAAAMMMES!!!

I must be a Bitter Betty. I'm watching "Baby Story" on TLC, and I literally want to smack the HELL out of these women that are having their babies. Yes, I am full of hate. I AM JEALOUS! I was supposed to have my baby already!! These broads are laying up there in the beds, smiling with their epidurals giving wack *ss pushes, and I'm sitting on the couch ready to spit on the TV screen. This is not a good feeling to have...so my jealousy quickly turns into shame until the 2nd episode comes on...a stupid broad with a planned c-section...*rolling eyes*

Well, I tried to hang in there for as long as I could! I'm officially 6 days late, and when I say that I have NO signs of labor, I mean I have absolutely NO signs at all! I'm still sitting at 3 cm and 90% effaced, and its like...everything has stopped! I don't understand...why me? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHYYYYY?! *my Pomeranian is laying on the couch giving me a serious side-eye right now*

So, on the 29th, I will be getting induced. *dramatic cunty fallout on the floor*
Excuse my language, but FUCK!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe this is happening. I know that things always don't go as planned, but I cannot describe the disappointment that I feel right now. Everything was going so well, I don't get it!!

Inducement means pitocin...which means EXTREME pain...which means...*hyperventilating* the epidural. How can I feel like super woman with an epidural in my back? How can I truly experience childbirth when I CAN'T EVEN FEEL IT?!

I plan on LIVING at the gym for the next two days. Seriously. I'm going to walk like I've never walked before, and do some serious squats. I'm going to continue to smut it up with my husband every night, I'm going to do head stands...I'm so desperate to get her out of my body!!! Please pray for me!!

If you have any suggestions other than castor oil to get this baby out of my body...please, leave them here!!!!

I was induced with my first child.. I didn't have no EPI NO DRUGS! I swore up and down I would avoid these since they 'prolong' labor and I believe that we are meant to have babies drug free! It wasn't that bad!! Are you getting induced tomorrow!?!

DAMN!!! That sucks...No matter how shes born...it will still be a great moment and after she is here you wont even rember how labor was.....you still have time to go naturally.....and even if you get pitocin poision...lol...you can still go without the epi.

Good Luck tomorrow everything will be ok especially when you are holding your lil diva in your arms. I was induce once, had a c-section once and my water broke with the other and with all of them I had an epidural its not bad at all, the epidural and Im like you I hate needles. But in the end it is sooooo worth it. I will be looking for the pics and birth story soon.

Oh, and remember they always say to give yourself a week or so either side of your due date. So just because they have said you were due on that particular date doesn't mean you actually were. Maybe they were a week off and your little one will come right on time!? Unless baby is losing condition or becoming distressed nature usually knows best!

There's a certain point on the back of yuor ankle that massage therapists have to avoid in pregnant women because it induces contractions. My friend's mum massaged that area on my friend at about 4pm and the same night at about 1am he was born.

Maybe look it up and give it a try?

Awww sweetie! Don't be so hard on yourself, think of it like this, Let Go and Let God, he knows what he is doing, although your looking up all cock eyed wondering what his plan is. Hopefully Zoe comes before than, but if she doesn't than you need to brace yourself and scrummage together a positive attitidue towards the induction. I mean who knows how it will all go, you may not need epidural. But don't feel defeated. You just need to keep thinking that Zoe will be here soon. I'll be praying that everything goes well. I know it's easier said than done, but i just don't want you to feel disappointed in something that is out of your hands.

No matter what, hunnie, don't do castor oil! If you are physically able...SEX makes your uterus contract and your man's lil swimmers contain the hormone that ripens your cervix.....GO FOR IT! I know EXACTLY how you feel!!! Pitocin doesn't necessarily mean extreme pain. I was induced with all 3 of mine and no drugs with the first 2. It could have been far worse, but also every woman & delivery is different! Good Luck sweetie. Just think. You are nearly half way through labor already at 3cm & 90% :)
