My sweet baby had her 2 week check up today, though she'll be two weeks on Friday. Anyway, the Jaundice has subsided, she grew 1.25 inches since LAST WEDNESDAY 21.25 inches and she now weighs 7 lbs. 15.5 ounces. So, even though she falls asleep a lot during nursing and she sleeps a lot all together she is doing GREAT!!! I was so worried because of all the sleeping she does and how fast she falls asleep while nursing. The Dr. says she must just be very efficient at nursing. I told her that or I am. LOL! Sometimes she seems to gag and choke when my milk lets down. I think she get drown. She is hard burper. (it is hard to get a burp out of her).
Anyway, I am so relieved the Jaundice is over and that she has gained so much for the short periods of time that she nurses. I am so glad she is doing so well.
