15-7-2008 - overtaking the mouse

My mood while writing this blog: ok

One of the other mommies, JenO, posted some photos of her son, Owen, with his Pooh Bear and it was astonishing to see how much he's grown in just five months. He dwarfed his Pooh Bear, lol!

So I was inspired to compare some shots of Beckett with his favorite sleepy toy, his Mouse.

Here they are in April 2008, just before he turned 2 months:

And here he is now, in July 2008, just past 5 months.

So, it's official: he's a MOOSE. :)

That is a BIG difference! He's really going to be a ladie's man! You will have to fight the girls off of him w/ sticks!

Wow I am glad that I was an inspiration!!!! I can't believe the difference in Beckett!!! The mouse has shrunk just like Pooh bear did!!

Oh my gosh!!! I love it!!! I'll have to try to see if I took a pic of her with a toy early on...but I can start now too I guess. Too cute! I love how he's totally busting out his boppy too. ;-)

What a great way to track how Beckett is growing- I can't wait to see next month's picture! And what a cute mouse. It looks so soft and cozy.

What a cutie! we are planning to do the same thing at Ri's 6 months. We have hospital photos of him with a tiny teddy bear that looks the same size as him, now its as big as his head only! But Beckett looks like a perfectly healthy boy and a great size, not too big and not too little! just perfect. :)

Riley has the same shoes! Love the Beasties tee shirt too (Riley has a pink one, with the mouse on it)...Beckett's friends tee shirt will be on the way shortly, after the cat situation is in hand I will be able to get to post office and send it!
