23-4-2011 - Easter 2011

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Hi ladies

Happy Easter to you all. The time of year when our children turn into choccy monsters! Aimee has about 6 eggs so far - she'll probably get through them just before next easter. Im having flashbacks of a disney dumbo sleepsuit she had for easter last year on account of her being 2 months old and having never tasted chocolate. It was huge on her for ages and now its the tiniest thing!

We've been out enjoyng the sunshine. Aimee loves it and its a battle to get her in sometimes. It sure does tire her out though which is great ha. She is like a little boy sometimes, so rough and tumble she has a bruise on her shin and a grazed knee both of which she never paid any attention to.

She walks so fast now and trys to run sometimes. Shes into EVERYTHING! I cant turn my back for 2 seconds before shes into something. Shes finally learnt how to climb down from things now which is a reief as shed get up on the sofa for example and just go to crawl or step off the end. The days seem exhausting at the moment as she demands so much attention and diversion sometimes plus the heat is draining too. Its hard to be glam when your carrying a hunk of child around the park to stop her running off or gazing endlessly at a drain cover, sweat just isnt attractive!

Well im also wondering about something. As you all know i came off my pill in february and we havent been actively trying im just trying to get my body ready. We use a method without being too detailed but im sure you know what i mean. Its not fool proof which doesnt matter as we'd be ok if it failed but ideally we want to see the summer out before I get pregnant. Any way, im waffling on, im 2 days late and ive been having slightly nauceous spells over the last couple of weeks. I know its way too early to have morning sickness as i could only really be 3 or 4 weeks but i had sickness from 5 weeks with Aimee. I dont know it could be the heat or the fact weve been rushed and busy lately?

I dont know what to think. I havent tested as i dont want to waste the money on a test just for AF to arrive tomorrow which would be typical. I also fail to see how it could be possible really as weve hardly had much intimate time and during those times we used the method, it would be a very lucky catch!

On the other hand im NEVER late. I was 1 day late with Aimee and i just knew, plus ive had no build up such as occassional cramps or irritability that i usually get just before AF. I think im gna give it until thursday as that would be a week late and would warrant a test. I dont know weather to be excited or not. Im ok with waiting until august which is my choice but im also kind of hoping i wont see AF....

UPDATE: Ok so I tested this morning and it was a BFN, about 30 minutes later AF arrived! Grrrrr! I bloody knew that would happen. The only explanation I can think of is that when im on the pill my cycle is 21 days then a week for AF but my natural cycle is 28 days then a week for AF so maybe im back to my natural cycle after 3 months off the pill?? Oh well, sorry for the build up, my body is obviously teasing us ha ha. Can you imagine if id had a BFP right before the royal wedding - id never forget that - maybe I can enjoy a tipple now.
