27-9-2009 - 25th Birthday!

Hi guys,

Not really pregnancy related i know but hey it's the first birthday i've ever had with a baby in my tummy and so many people made reference to that in my cards so i think i may keep them in a scrap book, sad aren't i!

My first birthday suprise was the when i got home from 2 days away at work. Matt has stripped all the paper off the walls and ceiling, re plastered, and finished the loft hatch in the babys room! Basically its a blank canvas now for me to work on and i'm so excited and happy. He wanted it done for me to give me a boost as it was a big job to get it to this state! He's so adorable to have done that for me i couldn't believe it. I haven't stopped smiling since!

Next treat was my mum took me clothes shopping so that i could feel great in what i was wearing for my bday. I'm usually quite fashion concious and have really just been wearing whats comfortable and fits lately but it felt lovely to dress up a bit and not feel guilty about spending money on me for a change!

Actual birthday has been fantastic, got lots of cards and presents and flowers, and a beautiful fire screen that i wanted. Matt has been so thoughful and arranged a suprise birthday lunch with family and friends. I wanted a birthday to remember and certainly got that. Just relaxing playing on a new game i've had now, before watching x factor lol! I've had a brilliant birthday and feel very happy and lucky. This time next year i'll have our 8 month old baby to share it with.
