19-12-2009 - 33 weeks, where has the time gone?

Hey ladies,

It's been such a long time since i last wrote a blog that i'm struggling to remember whats happened! It's gone so fast with the run up to xmas!

Well basically I myself have been cleaning sorting and tidying like mad, I'm sleeping much better lately because i'm absolutely whacked by the time i get into bed. I'm waking earlier though which is I think my bodies way of preparing me for the times ahead, oh and obviously i get up in the night now to pee as baby is always pressing on my bladder.

I've done all my xmas shopping and its wrapped and ready to go, and i've also bought everything i need for the baby now too, just essentials, i'll get nice bits and pieces after she is born.

Appointment wise i have been reffered back to my midwife from consultant led as all expected problems have not happened and all existing problems have been sorted. This will make it easier come birth day as i wont have to go to the triage part of the maternity ward. I've been for a check up with my midwife, and my little girl is now head down, and measuring perfect for 33 weeks. All my blood tests came back fine and my nutritional levels were perfect, she said i couldn't ask for a better score and must be eating a very good diet. BP was normal and babys heartbeat nice and strong. I'm feeling lots of movements so nothing to worry about there either! I'm feeling very satisfied and content and just ready now for whenever she wants to arrive.

I've tried to post a belly pic a couple of weeks ago but i had problems uploading it so will post 2 pics when i do my next one. I've got a few stretch marks now but they are quite small and not alot at all i don't think for 33 weeks. I keep dreaming of meeting my little girl now and i can imagine her in her coming home outfit that i've bought for her. I never get to see her face in my dreams though, shame as i can't wait to see what she looks like!

So thats it basically i'm just waiting now - and ready when she is.....

Oh apart from the name! We STILL can't agree on one, getting slightly worried now ha ha!
