Katie G, I came apon your blog which interrested me. I can understand your frustration when others are telling you something is wrong with your child. If you have doubts and professionals in the field tell you the same thing then I would say then would be the time to start taking action. Yes it is hard, I myself have delt with many families in your situation yet their children already had their diagnosis. If you're wondering I'm a consultant for families with children under the spectrum of Autism. I will tell you, with lots of hard work and patience your son would be able to communicate and do many things on his own. It just takes you and good support to do it :) Oh and to let you know, here in Canada children under the spectrum do go to a normal school and many function very well, some without aids. I would think it would be the same where you are.

Yes I agree, dont listen to people trying to diagnose Ryan, wait for the professional opinion, then deal with it x x you will have the support of the health service and your man x

hey girls i though i will vent and get all this stress out sorry
i sit in my bed at night when kids are asleep and my man snoring next to me with all these thought run through my head think why cant my son talk and the school he at says he cant eat his own yogurt when he can he always do it at home grrrr
people and family are added to my stress saying ryan has
autism, adhd learning problems this and that im like ffs
the cheek off it all they tell me to my face my son not normal umm what normal ffs this is driving me crazy and nuts
yes ryan needs one on one and he needs speech help with is 1st apt Wednesday why cant the family just back off
and plus if i mean if he has autism that will mean he want be at normal school will he not talk anyways i will stop going on and let you get on take care girls xxxx
