24-11-2008 - Bottle feeding

My mood while writing this blog:
Tired!!

hey everyone!! been a while since ive blogged!! hope your all doin ok.. im so tired!! its 02:20am i've fed jake at about 1am and hes still awake!!

ive been feeding him 4oz every 4 hours but recently hes havin about 5oz every 4 hours!! hes very restless in the night (doesnt scream or anythin, just niggles a bit) but all i wana do is sleep!! he sleeps near enough all day and is awake near enough all night!!!

anyone got any advice as to wot i can do to either keep him awake in the day or change his routine around??

Heya Hun! Eden was exactly the same and was sleeping all day and was awake from like 10 at night till 4 in the morning. What I started doing is gave her a bath at night time before her evening feed which depending on her routine during the day was between like 7 & 9pm and then Id feed her and coz of the bath she was pretty calm and relaxed and started to zonk out then I just put her in my room sometimes as soon as I put her in there she is wideo again and starts to squawk and my mum was like just leave her coz there is nothing wrong with her shes been bathed fed and changed which I found hard leaving her :( but she would usually fall asleep after about 10-15 mins and other times she would just fall asleep straight away! So what I would do hun is try bathing him at night time and see how it goes. I hope it helps huni!! x x x x

My baby has been so fussy lately. He wants me to hold him constantly. Sometimes it is hard to do much of anything. I guess we just have to deal with the first couple of months until our babies get used to a routine and everything. I have lack of sleep too I am lucky to get 3-4 hrs of sleep a night.
