06-10-2009 - Update - Jake 11months!

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Hey ladies, hope ur all well!

Im still waiting for the appointment to come through for Jake to have his legs checked in the hospital... well.. GOOD news.. he doesnt need it anymore! Hes standing up!!! Im so proud of him! He just suddenly decided to do it 1 day lol. Hes still not crawling but im not too worried about that cuz he is getting there! He prefers to roll to what he wants so maybe he will just walk and never crawl?

My health visitor advised me not to get a walker but my friend gave me one and Jake loves it! He only goes in it now and then so what harm can that do?! He can sit up on his own now too, he seems to be late for everything but is doing it all at once!

We're off to spain for 2 weeks again tomorrow to visit my mum, im really looking forward to that!

As for Jakes daddy, hes started to make the effort now, he comes up and sees him whenever he can, rings me to see how me and Jake are, and we're both getting on really well and im so happy (for now.. dont wana build my hopes up too much).

Im having a little party for Jakes 1st birthday on the 7th November just for my family and a few friends are comin up from Nuneaton including Jakes dad. A few party games for the kids, food, music, then i'll be going out to celebrate - adult style, so a few alcoholic beverages are in order!
