My mood while writing this blog: Stressed?

Hi everyone!

Well Jake was sick in the night 2 weeks ago, and Im talking REALLY sick! It was everywhere! The next morning he brought his weetabix up. I just put it down to something he ate didnt agree with his stomach. I was due to go to Nuneaton the next day so I thought id see how Jake was the whole of Sunday and Monday morning and if hes still ill then i wouldnt go. Well he was fine so I decided to go! Then on the Monday night he was sick again in the night!! Was everywhere again!! The next morning I took him to the local GP and she said that it might just be mucus in his throat which made him gag and throw up and told me not to worry about it, just carry on as normal and cut out a bit of his milk. That night he stayed with his Gran as planned (the whole point in me going to Nuneaton was so that he could see his family before christmas). The next morning I had a phonecall off Jakes dad saying Jake had been rushed to hospital! So I rang his Gran in a panic asking what had happened and where in the hospital she was so that I could get a taxi!!

When I got there he had wires stuck all over his body, it was terrifying for him & us!! His gran moved so that I could sit with Jake, and when the doctor was asking me questions and trying to tell me what was going on it felt like I could hear him but not what he was saying!! I was in shock!!!

Well the reason his gran had rushed him to hospital was because he woke up and was really dosey and had no energy... he looked like a newborn!! And his eyes were rolling to the back of his head! The doctors said he had low blood sugar levels due to his sickness bug (gastro-entiritus). So he had to have sugary drinks all day!!!

Well since then hes had really bad diarrhea, its been coming through his nappy and down his trouser leg!!! Ive spoken to a doctor today and she said to carry on as normal but didnt tell me what foods to give him?! Hes not been too bad since I rang the hospital this morning so hopefully its passed!!!!
