08-7-2009 - Scan today!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So I went for the scan today - turns out I am only 5.5 weeks and there was no heart beat yet! : ( But on the positive, it is in my womb area!! : ) Yippee!! I am to go back for another scan in 2 weeks to check on things. They could see the yolk sac and also there was a cyst but I was told this is normal as provides progesterene until the placenta forms. I think the pain is because they can see a little bit of endometriosis so I am just going to try and keep healthy and positive until the next scan and hope to see something happening! ;-))

Hi, glad your scan went well. Make sure and update us when you go for the next one. I'm going in for mine today, I am 6wks 3 days, but we'll see how the ultrasound dates me.
