27-10-2009 - Scan at 21 and half weeks!

My mood while writing this blog: Great!!!

I waited to have my 20 week scan until my hubby was back - he has been away for six long weeks and came back Sunday so I am very happy! he is shocked at how much I have grown! And he can now feel the kicks when he holds my tummy : ))

So we had the 20 week scan yesterday - I was very nervous but we were the 1st of the day so the people who did it were still ready for the day! We asked not to know the sex of the baby. They did all the checks and said that as far as they can tell everything is looking good, so we are so so pleased!!! baby was not coperative for the scan and refused to turn over, naughty little monster!

It was fascinating seeing the brain, spain, even the 4 chambers of the heart - science is amazing!

So that is the last scan now, and the last time we will see little one until baby's arrival! : )

It is such a relieve to know baby is OK after the flight the other week and all the weird pains I am getting - at least I know its only me hurting and Baby is well!

wow, that is soo good news!.. so you opted to surprise yourself as to the gender of your baby ha, just like me hehehe. people around me (before) kept on asking what it is and they/we enjoyed guessing, if not a boy it will be a girl(lol)... take care...
