10-6-2009 - 3-d Ultrasound Appt

My mood while writing this blog: No particular mood

Last night we had our 3-d/4-d ultrasound appointment and got to see our little girl! She is so cute. Unlike her brother Buck who earned his nickname in the womb by playing me like a drum, she was just chillin'.I knew she would be. If her behavior in there is any indication of her personality, she'll be a nice balance in our household to Mommy and Daddy's intensity and Buck's, well, buck-wildness. She looks perfect. One thing I did notice is it appears she has kind of a big nose!! I have the smallest nose in America but Ron is well-endowed in the nose department so maybe she is taking after him. I love her nose either way. Buck tried to steal her thunder and pretty well succeeded. He was playing in the waiting room with a wooden table with a toy train set on it and tripped over a block and slammed his head into the table. It was awful. He now has an enormous black and blue knot on his forehead. It made the appointment kind of rough but having him there at 7:30 at night something was bound to happen! Thank goodness Grandma (my mom) was there to help out with him. I put up 4 pictures from the ultrasound.

Things are still going well. The SPD pain is bothersome but not nearly as bad as when I was pregnant with Buck. I think Bibi changes positions because my belly seems to change shape and size from day to day, it's weird! I feel really good still. I hope it stays this way. I go in on 6/24 for 28 week appointment, glucose test, Rhogam shot, and discussion with the doctor about whether to try for a VBAC.
