14-9-2009 - Back to life...back to reality...

My mood while writing this blog:

Hey ladies! Just a little update... hope you are all well. Well Max will be 3 months on Sept. 23rd. He is doing pretty good but we think he is teething. Tons of drool, fussy, shoving fingers in his mouth. Tylenol seems to be the only thing that helps. He also is a little more engaged with toys. He likes to sit in the jumper & look at the lights. I have to put a pillow under his feet, but he can make himself bounce. He can only stand about 15 minutes of it & then he gets fussy. Too much action for him yet. He had his first dip in the pool. Loves water...my 18 yo son was the same way! I'm going back to work next weekend. I'm going to miss him but in a way I'm kinda excited. I miss the people at work & I really love my job. I'm a little anxious because I work 16 hour shifts on Sat & Sun & plan to stay at my mom's Sat. night because its closer to my job. So my husband will have Max by himself from 6:00am Sat to midnight on Sun. I know he can handle it but I'm gonna miss my lil guy! In other news, you may remember that we were planning on TTC again & I was told by my doctor to wait a year before trying. Well we both agreed the smart thing to do would be wait. Except for one small problem...this past week we "accidently" had unprotected sex. At the time I think we both just didn't care, however now we are realizing that I might very well have gotten pregnant & we are a little scared. We both want our kids close in age but I have been thinking about how much smarter it would be to at least have one of them walking. There also is the little matter of the baby & my health being in danger if my uterus is not fully healed yet. I decided that it is left to God's will but if I'm not PG we are going to be more careful from now on. I'm posting some recent pics. Congrats to all the new mommies & good luck to the rest!
