Hey ladies! Just wanted to thank all of you for your encouragement & beautiful comments. This website is so great. I feel a connection with all of you. Today was my birthday & my husband gave me the greatest gift of all...SLEEP! I slept most of the day & then his parents came over & brought us dinner. Just a relaxing day that was well needed. Daddy put a little birthday hat on Max & sung happy birthday. So cute... As for me, I've still been feeling very weak. My body is very sore & I have no energy. I have been very emotional & cry a lot. Not because of the baby but due to the fact that I just wish I was physically well enough to do all the things I want to do with Max. It's like I would love to spend all day looking at & playing with my baby but am just too tired. Also, we found out in the hospital that Max is tongue tied. The little skin under his tongue is too close to the tip. The doctor said she could clip it at his first visit which is on July 2nd. Do any of you have any advice about this? I haven't been able to breast feed due to this. I pump & he drinks it from a bottle because he can't latch to my nipple. I also supplement with formula because my production isn't so great. Overall though I feel very blessed & am trying to maintain a positive attitude. After all, God sent me the best birthday gift I could have ever gotten!

someone gave me this advice when my son couldnt latch on, idk if it matters that hes tongue tied, but i bought a nipple sheild and he sucked it like it was the bottle and it worked wonders!!! i would just give it a try, it doesnt take as much to latch on to the shield instead! and happy birthday......drink drink drink your supply will come in strong dont worry! as long as u pump, it'll keep up:) good luck hun and god bless!!

Awww I am just crying my eyes out (honestly) I can only imagine how you feel because I have my little man in my arms right now as I'm reading this, its hard but God will work things out. My sister had a rough pregnancy and was in the hospital for 2 weeks while her baby was at home which was SUPER hard because she couldnt even see her baby. Please stay positive and TRY to enjoy this little break you have 18 years to deal with MAX (smile)
