10-8-2009 - the 7 week itch...

My mood while writing this blog:

Hey ladies! Hope you are all well. Just thought I'd give a short update & I added some mores pics of Max age 7 weeks. I even caught one with a smile which has been hard to get cause he's always so serious, almost like a little old man! Boy time is flying by, almost 2 months old already. His baby acne is gone, he's being totally formula fed now (similac sensitive formula), & he sleeps for about 5 hours stretches at a time. The only problem is that he likes to be up at night so I'm trying to get him to sleep earlier. He loves to be swaddled when he sleeps still. He also has been sitting up some.(with help of course) I bought him the bumbo chair & he likes it for short periods of time. During tummy time he moves his little legs & almost propels himself forward a few inches. He also tries to get on his tummy to sleep. Turns to his side, but can't roll over yet. He is such a serious little man. He smiles a little bit, but only when he wants to. He doesn't smile yet if I make faces or noises & try to make him. He also just started to coo & make noises with his mouth. I swear sometimes it sounds like he says Ma! LOL. I bought a bubble machine & he likes to sit & watch the bubbles. I put a pic of that up too. I'm trying to enjoy this time cause I go back to work mid september. I also want to thank all of you for the advice about trying to concieve again already. I decided to wait a while & enjoy Max. I won't be taking the pill though. So it's going to be "no glove, no love" for a while with the hubby! I think we will start to try again when he's at least 8 or 9 months old. At the rate time seems to be going, that won't be very far away! Well thanks ago & take care... Well Good Luck when you decide to TTC!! Oh, and glad to hear that Max is moving right along!! I love the pics of Max. Take care!!

He sounds like he is doing wonderful!! Thats great news!! You will be so surprised how fast those 6 or 7 months will go. You will be TTCing in no time :)
