05-5-2009 - Back to work :(

My mood while writing this blog: sad and tired...

Hey Everyone!

Well the day I have NOT been looking forward to finally came.... I went back to work on Monday... I was so depressed Sunday evening. When I packed Grayden's diaper bag I felt like a parent sending their kid off to college.. I cried a lot! As some of you may know, I'm a high school special education teacher and I have to say that the end of the school year is the WORST time to come back.. Everything is crazy; the kids are crazy, the teachers are crazy, the parents are crazy.. etc.............. The mornings have been tough.. I have to get up at 5:30! I get myself ready, use my breast pump, get the baby dressed, feed the baby, then leave to get him to my in-laws house... BUT, on a happy note my husband and I have come to a decsion.... I am NOT going back to work next school year.. :) I had wanted to stay home for awhile now but my husband wasn't on board. He liked the idea of me working because he seems to think I have a "shopping problem" HA! So although this sucks right now (and it does, I've cried both mornings & feel like my baby doesn't remember me) there is a light at the end of the tunnel...
