Hello ladies, my name is Keri-Jade, nice to meet ya!

I am currently not on the birth control pill nor am I using any form of contraceptives.

My Endocrinologist has determined that I'm "probably" poly cystic. I see a OBGYN in April to see if I really do have it and what can be done to improve my fertility. If nothing, adoption is very much a valid consideration for us.

Mom and Baby me!

I'm an only child in a family of only childs. LOL. My family as a result is very small. I have 1 cousin, 1 aunt, 2 uncles (1 adopted) and that's it. My mother are not overly close so I do not know much about her pregnancy with me beyond that she conceived on a break from her birth control pill and that her labor was unusually short and easy. A lot of time I do wish we were closer. The unknowns are what worries me the most. I don't know if she had any health problems -- aside from a Vitamin B12 deficiency which I also have. She and I are very similar health wise, another reason why I wish we were closer.

John & I, last Halloween

My fiance is John. He's 29 an VERY enthusiastic to start the baby making process. He's been pregnant before with his ex, but she had an early term miscarriage due to complication of Lupus. He comes from a moderate sized family of all boys. His mother had a still birth and several miscarriages. John was born with hip displacia, the only known case in his family. John is amazing with kids and has a lot of experience baby sitting and whatnot. I'm positive that he will make a great father. Our wedding will take place October 11, 2208 @ 11am.

My best friend Jennifer is pregnant! She told me about this website. I am very excited for her and support her 100%. Congrats Jenny and Aaron!

So on April 28th I had my meeting with my gyn. He literally said that the best medicine for me would be to go to Weight Watchers. He said to come back and see him after the wedding to get fertility drugs. That's it.

Since then John and I have seriously given up birth control. LOL, seriously. I'm sure it will take a while but having fun and a positive attitude is a good start, I believe. But in my heads of course I get every pregnancy symptom in the book.

At work I'm taking over a client for a woman my age currently having a high risk pregnancy (she goes to the same gyn as me). I think it's good karma. I hope that somewhere somehow by this time next year I'll be pregnant too...if not sooner!

Less than two months to the wedding! What a great yet stressful time! This Sunday is my bridal shower and I'm looking forward to spending time with family and friends.

On the TTC front not much to report. We're still not using birth control but not "officially" trying. I am taking progesterone every month to bring on AF. Last Thursday I started heavily cramping (and have every morning since) but no AF.

After the wedding I'll see the doctor and learn fully what he can do for us to help conception. *fingers crossed*

My best friend Jenny is due very soon. I can't wait to meet her little boy! Witnessing her pregnancy has been a joy and I can't wait to be "Auntie" Keri.
