Long Pregnancy Survey!!

About the mommy!

Finding out!!
What day did u find out?: 29th Jan 2008
How did u feel when u found out? to be honest shocked and gutted, it wasnt planned and i was on the pill!!!

who was with u?: shaun, he was due to go away the next day working and i was worried because i hadnt bleed on my 7day break.
Who was the first peson u told?: my mum
How did they react?: shaun was shocked and speech less as he could see how upset i was. my mum was so excited but again could see upset i was!!!

How did the daddy react?: shocked, bless him, i was blaming him for ruining my life!!!

Telling the grandparents!
How did ur parents react?: my dad didnt really know what to say and my mum was excited but worried about how upset i was. i had always been quite vocal about how i didnt want kids until i was at least 30+

How did his parents react?: not sure shaun told them

Are they helping with baby names?: my mum is, she got a new one every day!!

Have they bought anything for the baby yet?: again my mum has and knitted me some cool stuff. How often do they call to check on u?: i see my mum every day and as im on my own most of the time (shaun works away) i now have a dinner ready for me daily, typical mum, reckons i dont eat enough. :)

About the pregnancy!
When was ur first appointment?: monday 11th Feb
When is ur due date?: 27th Spetmeber
How far along r u?: 25 weeks at present
Pre-pregnancy weight?: 55kg

Weight now?: 59 kg- thats about 8lbs
Have u had an unltrasound?: yep 2, 20th march which was dating scan, dates where spot on and 9th may.
Have u heard the heartbeat?: yep nearly every day, i cant help myself.
What was the heartbeat?: about 150 usually.

Sex of the baby!
What do u want?: i had my heart set on a girl.
What does the daddy want?: he says it would be nice to have a girl (he has a son) but i dont think he minds really!!
What do u think u r having?: a boy, keep dreaming about alittle boy with blond hair!!
Have u had ur big ultrasound yet?: yes
If so, what r u having?: a bouncing big boy and he is gorgeous.
Are u happy with what u r having?: to be honest i was disappionted for not even a second, how can you not love your baby when its there infront of you flashing his crown jewles!!

About the birth!
Do u know what u r taking with u?: yeah and music is def one of them!!

Who is going to be with u?: my gorgoeus boyfriend and my mum
Are u going to videotape it?: thinking about it!!!

Natural or medicated?: natural i hope but gonna keep an open mind.
Do u think u will need a c-section?: i hope not but who knows.
Will u cry with u hold ur baby for the first time?: yeah i just know i will, i cant wait to met him.
Do u know what u will say to the baby when u first hold him/her?: prob wont be able to speak cause i will be sooooooooo happy, i just know shaun will say something like, hes cute, not a man of many words my shaun!!

Are u scared about the labor?: i dont think so, i think once it starts i will be so excited cause i know i will be meeting my little man at the end of it!!!

Girl names...: tiffany, kaylyn, emiline
Boy names...:i really liked saul but shaun wouldnt entertain it but we both love sebastian so thats what it is.

Is ur baby going to be named after someone?: he is having shaun as his middle name (after daddy)

Other random questions!!
Where was ur baby conceived?: prob in lanzarote, thats where we were over new year.
Have you felt the baby move?: yes and seen him, its like something out of alien!!
What race will your baby have? British!!! there is alot of irish on my side so he could come out fair and ginger!!

Do you have stretch marks?: no- think i might be lucky and get away with em, iv been using tons of cream, fingers crossed it stays that way!
What was your first symptom?: very sore boobs, my little dog jumped up at me, banging my boobs and i nearly passed out.also didint bleed on my 7day break.
What religion will the baby know? And from what side?: none, i dont belive in getting babies christened, they should be given the chance to chose their own faith when they are old enough to understand.

What music or interests do you want the baby to know?: all sorts of music but trance will be at the top. me and shaun r really into clubbing and shaun is a keen dj, so music will be a big part of his life. i will also encourage him to ride and swim as they are both big passions of mine. i will get him a pony as soon as he can walk, lucky boy.

Will ur baby have godparents?: no, he will have plenty of family to look after him if anything should happen to me and/or shaun

What is the baby's room theme?: quite modern, i didnt want anything to babyish, its duck egg blue and chocolate, i will put some pics up when its done.
What was the first thing u bought for the baby?: a steraliser although i plan to breast feed all the way.
Are u ready to be a mommy?: although i thought my life was over when i saw that positive (it took a good few weeks to come to terms with it) i am more then ready. i can not wait to met him and care for him. i will always try to be fair but firm with him and make sure he knows how much he is wanted and loved. i get butterflies just thinking about him, or is it just him kicking the hell out of me!!!
