22-6-2009 - My Baby Shower

I had my baby shower this past weekend. The weather sucked!! The weather the day after was beautiful though. However, it was still really fun and huge! We had it at the park because we expected about 100 people - since it was more like a party! Also, Allen's family is very traditional filipino which means the whole family comes to celebrate the upcoming baby so we had a bunch of people from L.A. visit us here at San Diego. We got plenty of presents and clothes. Oh and a bunch of diapers. I don't think I'm going to need to buy any diapers for the first 6 months. My aunts and allen's mom financed the party, my friend Maryanne did the games and party favors, and Allen (the father) catered and decorated BECAUSE we are in the catering business already so it just makes sense for him to do it for the reason that he can make it beautiful and food is a lot cheaper if he does it. We had Green Salad with pears, gorgonzola cheese, and glazed walnuts, we also had cheese and crackers, a fruit tray with a watermelon baby carriage, rice, lumpia, pansit, yakisoba, sweet and sour spareribs, chicken wings, chocolate covered strawberries, brownies, and cake :-) ANYWAYS...Here are some pictures...
