My mood while writing this blog: Pissed Off

This is an old blog from my 1st pregnancy. Just wanted to make room for the new baby's stuff on my profile!

I'm sorry everyone, but I have to rant about the terrible thing this woman did to me today...my husband and I were at a gas station and we were going to get a carwash too. Well the car at the pump next to us had a flat tire, so my husband offered to help them fix it. So he went to the side of the parking lot with them, and I went to the carwash. I had seen a car pull in there shortly before and the door was closed, so I typed in my code on the keypad and waited my turn. Meanwhile another car pulls up behind me. A minute later the woman got out and came up to my window and said really snotty 'well are you going to use the carwash or are you going to sit there all day?' So I said I thought there was someone in there, and I had put my code in already, and the door was still closed. And she said there was nobody in there because the light that said 'Occupied' wasn't turned on. I said that maybe the light was burnt out and that's why it wasn't on. She didn't agree and told me to put my code in again so I did and the door still stayed shut. So she starts angrily pushing buttons on the keypad and it still didn't open. So she GRABS my ticket out of my hand and puts my code in again. Well big surprise, the door still didn't open. So she decides to go around to the other side and see if anyone was in there. Then while she's walking around, her husband gets out and comes up to my window and starts shouting at me 'Come on! What's the big hold up??' I explained that I put my code in and the door still wouldn't open and I thought there was someone in there, and his wife was checking. So then he asks how long ago I paid for the carwash, and I said about 10 min. ago. Well his wife comes back and she says that there was nobody in the carwash. And then she says 'I know it doesn't sound fair, but why don't you let us go ahead and see if our code works'. I said, well if it won't open for me I doubt it will work for you. I also suggested that she go in to ask them if their carwash was working today. And she says really snotty 'No, I'll leave it up to you to go in and ask!' I turned my car off, locked it, got out, (which is difficult for me because I'm huge and it's only a 2 door car, and I was parked close to the keypad so I could only open the door a little bit) and went inside. They told me that sometimes the code didn't work, so they gave me a new code. I get back out there to see the carwash door wide open (because there HAD BEEN someone in there!) and the woman starts yelling me that I 'abandoned' my car and that I was holding up the whole line!! I wanted to scream at her that 1)she should have been more patient because I told her there was someone in there 2) If it was that important to her she should have been the one who went in and asked 3)she was parked behind me so how was I supposed to move my car! But I didn't say any of those things, I was the bigger person and just went into the carwash and ignored her. I just couldn't believe how rude she was, especially since my husband was being nice and helping a stranger change their tire while all this was going on! Okay, I'm done. Thanks for listening, now I feel alot better :)
