My mood while writing this blog: Hoping to catch a break |
Logan went back to the doctors and low and behold his ears have actually gotten worse. I can't believe it poor thing. He barely sleeps. He can't lay flat cause it hurts so darn much and now he's already been on antibiotics for 3 out of 6 weeks of his little life. Half his life he has already spent on medications. The pediatrician told us if they don't go away he will have to see an ENT (ears, nose, and throat specialist) and most likey have tubes put in his tiny little ears. Plus he will have to have more blood work, more urine, and more spinal fluid drawn. Poor little man. I can't stand any of this! I know that he's doing so much better then a lot of other baby's but he's also suffering so much more then a lot of others. All I want to do is be able to kiss it and make it better. Isn't that what mom's are supposed to do? I know you are all already praying so I just ask that you continue to do so. And thank you ahead of time for all your support. Hope your family's are doing well. And for all of you in the states that you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

43.7 hours ago i don't know how you do it, but you're doing it for him! continue to be strong. i lost my patience tonight after 11 hours at the ER because my daughter went in with a 104 fever and a fast heartrate and a cough. the fever went up and down and eventually stayed at 101. at the end, i lost my patience ... after all the bloodword and urine and IV and medicine and rectal temperatures ... i totally gave the nurse and doctor attitude. but that was one day and here you are experiencing this for so long already and your little boy isn't even two months old yet. god bless you, girl! we will keep logan in our thoughts and prayers. 164sWifey -
45.6 hours ago sorry to hear about the infection. hell come around...:-) yes its hard, we all expect our kids to be fine and healthy, but it happens to the best of us. stay strong for him and just do what youve been doing, loving him! well be praying and youre in our thoughts still! i know what it feels like to have to see so many doctors in a short amount of time, its hard and frustrating, and you do want to take his pain from him. theres only so much we can do as mothers, its hard but stay strong and make sure to keep yourself healthy for him when he needs you most! were here for you! :-) Gigantor -
46.1 hours ago Oh, honey! I feel for you guys. It's not pretty to see your little one suffering and you probably feel like a failure of a mother, but you are NOT!Hang in there and it'll get better. Usually sick babies develop the best immune system, so he will not be sick once he hits his teen years.I know it's not much of a consolation, but I am praying for you guys.Happy Thanksgiving as well and please keep us posted!
