17-7-2009 - My last night in Hell!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Exhausted

I can not wait!!! Last night it was 95 degrees in my bedroom. My poor little girls were sleeping in there panties. The ceiling fans didn't seem to make a diffrence at all. Madison, my four year old, kept waking so I laid a cool washcloth across her tummy. She would wake every time it got warm. She cried for so long that I ended up sticking her in a cool tub and covering her with baby powder. Poor little thing. Miss Isabell, my seven yr old, laid spread eagle across her bed sweating to death. I have no idea how she fell asleep but once she did she stayed that way. With her hair blastered to her head from the heat. It was so incredibly humid which made everything so much worse. My contractions became so much stronger and more frequent. At one point they were 18 minutes apart. I told myself if they got to 15 I was calling my OB. When they slowed his little feet were in my lungs and I couldn't breath. I finally feel asleep around 7am and got up with my girls at 8. I am exhausted but it is still way to hot to get any sleep. My father in law is coming over at 3 to help my husband put in the A/C. I think I am going to do a big bed night with my girls. Pull in their mattress and even eat dinner in our bedroom. I am going to put it at 65 degrees and enjoy pulling my covers up to keep away the chill.
