| 17-8-2009 - 34 week apt | My mood while writing this blog:ready for bed |
So I went to the OB today and I was only meeting with the NP since they were just doing a culture and heart rate check. However little man decided he wasn't getting enough attention so when she checked his heart rate it was 183. So she double checked and it was 179. Luckily the office I go to is fully equipt. They sent me and hubby with our two kids to the NST (Non Stress Test) room, hooked me up on monitors and turned the tv on for the kids. Came back and hour later and little man still had not settled down. His rate would drop down to 143 then go back up to 175 then down to 158 then up to 169. So of course we had to stay for another hour. This time they RN and NP stayed and watched my belly. Low and behold little man only stopped moving for five minutes. When he rested his rate was between 138 - 153. Then he picked back up again kicking and punching and wham his rate flew back up to 184. So after 2 hours they sent us home and chalked it all up to a very active little man. Now of course they have to cover their rears and tell you about what happens if this were to happen during active labor. Blah, blah, blah. So now my hubby doesn't want me going to the bathroom with out him just incase!!! Incase of what I have no idea. Infact I just think he wanted to let the world know that he's still in there and when he gets out he's going to run us all ragged. LOL!!! Obviously if he's this active he must be a very healthy young man. So now they want me to call with any sudden changes. Atleast his big sisters had a tv to watch during all of this. Madison (our four yr old) want to know why brother was misbehaving already. lol. And of course Isabell (7 yrs old) Want to know what she can do for me so that I can rest like the doctor said, isn't she sweet. So I guess from now on I am going make sure little man is asleep when I go to my appts.
