15-9-2009 - Contractions!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Excited and Scared

So I started having contractions yesterday. About every 10 - 15 minutes. Which made for a really long night. David was so exhausted from work that as hard as I tried to have him pace the floors with me he was dead to the world asleep. Poor baby. So they started becoming more intense around 3 this afternoon. I went into the OB and the hooked me up to the monitor. To my suprise they told me that I was actually contracting every 4 - 6 minutes. So of course they checked my cervix and I am only at 1 cm. They gave me the option of laboring it out at the hospital, or laboring it out at home. So I choose to come home. My OB told me that if they become too intense or if I have another long night not to hesitate but to call and then head to L & D. David is so excited. I however am just really tired and wish they would ease up enough so that I can rest before I have to try and push. Unfortunately she did tell me that it could be another 24 to 48 hours and to hang in there. I am so excited about Logans upcoming arrival but now all of a sudden I am really scared. Please Lord help me get through this.
