19-1-2010 - Sleeping with my eyes open!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Bad couple weeks

I have had a rough couple weeks. Logan is teething and not sleeping. I am still breast feeding and with him teething he is starting to chew on me as well as nurse. Unfortunately my husband doesn't hear him wake up so I am up with him every time he cries. Lately his longest period of sleep is between 5 and 8. But with me being up with the girls to get them up for school at 7 it's truely exhausting which is what I am sure most of you are going through as well. Two weeks ago my grandmother was diagnosed with both Lung cancer as well as three inoperable brain tumors. This past Monday they started her on rapid radiation. And yesterday they did a petscan. We are patiently waiting the results but if the radiation isn't working according to the doctors she has less then three months to live. My husband and I have burried two of our friends this week alone and each funeral to me all I could think about was her which makes it so much worse especially since everyone says these things happen in three's. I try to stand strong to my convictions and focus on the promises of Christ Jesus but it has been hard these last couple of weeks. I am tired both physicall and emotionally. I feel I have nothing to give to anyone and try so hard to smile for my childrens sake just to get through the day. Please keep me lifted up in prayer as I will continue to do for all of your family's. Hopefully there are brighter days ahead
