We are forgoing our last IUI. Me and chris had a long talk and instead of wasting another month and another 1300 dollars we are going to wait and save for IVF. At this rate we could save for IVF in 20 months...
Originally we thought maybe we would try the IVFx3 option for 14,500 but it doesnt include every thing...so on top of the 14,500 it would cost 5-8000 dollars per try. So we think we are going to do the 1x and just pray that it works, and if it doesn't work...pray that we have left over embryos we can freeze for a frozen embryo transfer.
Ugh....I am just hoping maybe we will have a fluke month and get pregnant while waiting...and then we will have a bunch of money to spend on the new baby...LOL

I really hope your ivf works as you are only getting one chance at it. I cant imagine having to spend all that money. It really would be great to get caught naturally and like you said have all that extra money for baby and preparing the house etc. Alot of people take for granted how easy they can become pregnant and that there are unfortunatly people out there that want and deserve them so bad but the cost of it all is to extreme for them to become a mommy and daddy. Take care of yourself and stay healthy and I hope a miracle happens and you can tell us your pregnant (for free!) =)

Good luck with your plan! It's great that you and hubby are on the same page with things - When TTC gets to this stage I can't imagine the stress that gets put on a couple. PS: My friend adopted a little girl from Russia, and one month before they went to get her, she found out she was pregnant! She now has the adopted daughter and two biological daughters too. A four year endeavor!
