23-6-2009 - I am so done

My mood while writing this blog:

I am really getting sick of coming on here venting but its the best thing for me to do to get this off of my mind. I think I will be staying by myself again. I miss that feeling because I didn't have to clean up behind grown ass people. Its doesn't make any sense that I have to keep complaining about everything in this damn house. My husband knows I am limited to clean but he won't even bother to help unless I get really mad at him and that is when he gets off his ass to clean. My brother isn't no better. He just cleans his side of the house and that is it. Then when roaches and other pest start showing up, they wanna complain. Well I am not nobody damn maid. I already went on a cleaning strike and u think they would clean up after getting tired of looking at crap, nope. I told my husband tonight baby or no baby that I want my own place on my own cause i ain't cleaning up after him and the baby. Just the baby only. When I was staying by myself, i never had any problems with any house cleaning due to the fact that I was never at my house because of working 60 hrs a week. Didn't have to complain as much except about how stressful my job was but everything in the house was always clean and put up. Maybe I am overreacting right now but I am just tired of this place completely. Wish I had the money to break the lease and get the hell out of here!

I know your plight trust me. I just spent hours shampooing carpets, moping floors and picking up like 50 pieces of school paper from my son's bookbag he left on the floor and my husband's new puppy ripped up. I cleaned windows, wiped down tables and counters, cleaned 2 out of 3 of the bathrooms before finally getting tuckered out. Then when I'm finished my husband comes home from work and sits empty water bottles and food cartons that should go out in the trash and recycle can just inches away on the counter instead and throws his dirty clothes on the floor in the den that I just shampooed. The lazy bastard. I contantly complain about this but he keeps doing it. I tried striking, but it was so disgusting after a month I couldn't take it. The men in my house really didn't care. There trifling. They call me a neat freak, but really their just slobs. They think I'm hazel the maid. Just makes me wonder how I'm gonna manage when the baby comes and I don't have the time or energy to pick up behind them how my house is gonna look. I'm gonna make my husband pay for a maid, which I've never done in my life, but I just can't do it all, not with a baby too.

That sucks. I'll tell you what I did. I'm on pelvic rest so can;t be cleaning all the time. My husband did not understand. So, I wrote him a 4 page letter. It was very nice but explained myself completely. Sometimes I get intimidated and flustered and can't say what I mean verbally. Ever since then he is more understanding. Hope they start to help soon!
